One of the UK’s finest NHS Hospital’s have requested the assistance of Midas Medical Recruitment in finding talented and experienced Accident & Emergency Doctors. The Hospital are in desperate need of Middle Grade Surgeons, or even Consultants who are willing to work at Middle Grade level in their spare time.
This large Royal Infirmary is situated within the very vibrant and affluent city of Birmingham.
The rota is still currently being compiled so we are uncertain as to your exact hours, it is thought that you will be working Monday to Friday, working long days. You will also have the opportunity to work a 1:5 weekend on call rota
The A&E department sees over 110,000 patients each year. It has a purpose built 6 bedded resuscitation area with excellent facilities including an overhead digital X-Ray gantry, bedside ultrasound facilities, non-invasive ventilation & the most up to date monitoring equipment.
We have a senior-led initial assessment of all major injuries patients to the Middle Grade decision-making as well as departmental ward rounds at least 4 times per day to promote training.
There is a large and well established welcoming department with a very friendly & supportive clinical team with an excellent record of publishing papers in peer reviewed medical journals over recent years. There is also a very large Doctors mess at the Hospital.
